In WodGuru you can plan the availability of trainers and use the schedule as a calendar for personal trainings.
We create it in the same way as recurring classes, i.e.:
In Settings > Crew we create a crew member account
In Settings > Programs we add classes, e.g. called "Personal training" (we can also create classes called e.g. "Personal training with John" and give those classes separate color)
In Settings > Classes and signups we create grid of recurring classes, setting the number of available places in classes to 1
When it comes to classes, which maximum numer of attendants is 2 or 1, you will be able to see the name and last name of the person who has signed up for classes. So when it comes to PT it's gonna be easier for you to check with whom you're supposed to meet on the training 😉
Training classes are charged in the same way as in any session-based membership - after booking a place in the training schedule.
Here's more info about session-based memberships: Session based memberships
And about how absences are handled: Absences - when is the session charged and when is it not?
If we want only people who have purchased personal trainings to see the training schedule, we can set it as follows:
Public schedule - i.e. visibility of classes for people who are not logged in: Gym's public schedule
Schedule for logged in people: Classes visibility for members
You can also completely hide specific classes from gym members - then only coaches can register their students for trainings. You will find this option when creating recurring classes, at the very bottom of the settings for specific classes, in the "Classes and signups" section.
You can automate many things related to signups/signouts, e.g.:
Automatic cancellation of training if no one signs up by a certain time before it starts
Automated signing up for classes - so that each purchase of a training package / membership results in booking set of slots in the trainer's calendar
Minimum time for signout from a training (you edit given recurring classes in _Settings > Classes and signups) - so that the client can cancel the reservation, e.g. no later than 6 hours before the start. (here may also be useful: Absence fee)
We encourage them to use the app and check the "My signups" tab. How to install WodGuru mobile app
Additionally, you can also use e-mails and text messages, which will automatically notify them about the upcoming training: Automation of sending email and SMS messages
