How do we calculate occupancy at Gym?
Here's all you need to know about how do we calculate occupancy at your gym in the Check-ins Report.
Check-ins Report
You will find the attendance report in Reports > Check-ins.
Here you will find all the data concerning:
- what is the current occupancy at the gym?
- what is the average occupancy rate at the gym? - showing data based on a specific date range
- all recorded entries to the club - based on QR codes and card scans. For more information on how to use the card reader, click here.
How do we count attendance at the club?
Depending on whether your gym uses a gym card reader or not, the system will calculate attendance accordingly:
- From the moment when the card / QR code is scanned, the system will count one and a half hours.
- If your gym does not use a card reader, but only class bookings, occupancy will be counted from 15 minutes before the class to 15 minutes after the class.
In a case when:
- we book in one club member for two consecutive classes, the club member will be counted in the report as one person for the duration of the classes.
- the club member had their attendance confirmed and we sign him out from the class, they will still count towards the current occupancy. If we want to sign a member out, it is worth remembering that this person should not have their attendance marked in advance.
Average occupancy
We can check the average occupancy in the gym basing on two methods:
- Setting a specific date range without specifying the days of the week
- By setting the date range and specifying the days of the week. This will allow us to see the average occupancy rate for a given date range on specific days of the week:
