Absence fees

In WodGuru you have the possibility of charging your gym members for their absence. This means - if someone is registered for a class and does not show up, the system will propose charging an absence fee.

Where to enable absence fees?

First, you need to have the wallet module enabled.
Go to Settings >Classes and signups tab and edit the the settings section to configure the absence fee.

When does the system charge an absence fee?

If a gym member does not show up for classes, you can withdraw him from the classes he did not attend. The system will then ask whether to charge an absence fee. The amount will go to the wallet as a debt that the gym member will have to pay off.

Each time we can decide whether we want to charge a fee or, for some reason, we dismiss the gym member from the class without financial consequences.

If you want to charge a different amount in a specific case, it can be easily edited like this:

How to enable paying off the debt in the app?

You need to have online payments enabled
If it is enabled, go to the Settings>Online payments tab and allow the wallet payoff by enabling the slider on the right:

How to set restrictions in signups for members with debt in their wallets?

You can block signups depending on the wallet balance for each membership type separately, in its settings (Settings>Memberships). If you set the value to 0 there, the system will not allow to sign up if there is any debt in the wallet. You can also set any other value there - e.g. equal to the amount of the absence fee. Then the gym member will have to balance the wallet to the required amount to be able to sign up for classes.
