**Everything you need to know about how to enable sending text messages and how can you send them to your members. **


Which SMS provider is used for SMS integration?


WodGuru is integrated with the SerwerSMS system. To send text messages, you need to create an account there and connect it with your WodGuru panel.


Our system is only an intermediary in sending text messages, settlements and settings are made directly with the SerwerSMS service.


Creating SerwerSMS account


To connect your WodGuru account with SerwerSMS account, you need to register here: Serwer SMS registration.


You will see:



You need to add your email address, phone number and set a username.


Next, server will ask you to Enter SMS code to continue. Then you'll get access to your account.


Connecting WodGuru with SerwerSMS


To connect your SerwerSMS account with WodGuru, you need to go to **Settings > Sending messages. **



Click on Connect button.


Then you'll see:



Fill the info, and you're set! 🥳


If connection was successful, you will then see:



You will have access to:


  • Limits: we can see how many SMS can we send
  • Settings: we can choose the type of SMS we want to send


Types of SMS


There are two types of SMS:


  • ECO - cheaper, without special characters, sent from a random number - it is not possible to edit the sender name
  • FULL - more expensive, with special characters, you can edit the sender name

Pricing


SMS pricing can be found in the SMS tab at WodGuru


You can get discounted prices for SMS if you contact SerwerSMS customer helpdesk and let them know that you are WodGuru customers:

Sending SMS


Everywhere where is the option "Send a message", you will be able to choose email or SMS.



Sending a quick message looks like this:



Phone verification


If you already use sending SMS in your club, you can enable additional verification by confirming your member's phone number 😎


So how does it work? 🤔


  1. **Text us on our system chat. We'll change a setting that will enable this option in your club. **


  1. Member is registering his account, providing name, last name, e-mail address and phone number.


  1. He gets a text message to confirm his phone number with a link to our app.


  1. Done 🥳


And now the most important: if a member will want to create another account on the same phone number, system will not allow him to do so 😉


When registering second account on the same phone number, a member will see:



This option allows you to make sure that a member doesn't create a couple of unneeded accounts in your club 🙌🏻


Phone number verification by existing client


If you have already had members with phone number before enabling this option, existing client will see the following information after entering the app:



After clicking on Verify, text message with a link will be sent to a member. Once he clicks on a link sent in SMS, his phone number will be confirmed 🥳


Phone verification by a team member


If you don't want to send verification text message to your client, you can confirm his phone number manually


So how can you do it?


  1. Look up your member that you want to confirm
  2. Click on the 3 dots next to his profile
  3. Click on the Verify phone number



  1. That's it Now your member will get text messages from your club 🥳


If you want to check which clients have already verified their phone number, you can check it in Reports > Members tab. You will find there Phone Verified column.
