Emails
Basic information
WodGuru e-mails are available to everyone, with no extra charge.
We can send them in several different ways:
Automatic messages
Email campaigns (Communication > Campaigns)
Instant messages (directly from a schedule or a members' list)
Default settings
By default, all emails are sent from your WodGuru email address:
yourgymname_klub@mg.wod.guru
All emails sent to the above address (usually they will be simply replies from gym members) are redirected to the address that you can set in the Settings > Sending messages tab

Email delivery
It happens that some of the messages you send will bounce off the recipient's mail. Assuming the recipient's email address is correct, this is because your email may be treated as SPAM.
You can check whether your email has been delivered or not in the Communication > Message history tab.
Much more often, emails are bounced from non-standard mailboxes, such as @companyname.pl, where anti-spam filters can be problematic. E-mails like @gmail.com don't cause such problems.
Whether an email ends up in spam or not depends on many factors, and there are a lot of articles on the web about it, for example:
What WodGuru does to prevent this from happening:
Adds the option to opt-out of receiving emails (unsubscribe)
It remembers the addresses to which the message could not be delivered and blocks sending emails to those addresses in the future
Breaks down big amounts of emails into smaller parts so they are not sent all at once
What WodGuru has no influence on:
The content of the message,
The title of the message,
The addressee
Emails should have a lot of text compared to pictures. Links in the message should lead to reputable sites. We should avoid phrases like "free", "special offer", "buy now".
When we use the default WodGuru email address, reputation is built by all WodGuru customers using @mg.wod.guru.
To become slightly independent, you can integrate WodGuru with your gym's email box using the SMTP protocol.
SMTP configuration
In the Settings > Sending messages tab, you will find the SMTP Configuration button

After clicking it, you will see a form in which you must enter the data for your SMTP mail server.

You will find out which data you need to put in the form from the provider of your domain and e-mail.
