# How to remove a member account?

| If a member account was created by mistake or is no longer needed, you can delete it in two different ways! :D  

||| IMPORTANT! Please note that deleting an account is permanent and cannot be undone.

# How to delete a member account

### Deleting from the quick menu

1. Search for the member using the search bar,
2. Click the **three-dot menu** next to the selected member,
3. Select **Delete account entirely**,
4. Confirm the deletion!

### Deleting from the member profile

1. Open the [member profile edition](/en/article/members-profile-edition-guide-for-a-club-340ubw/)
2. Click the **three-dot menu** in the top-right corner,
3. Select **Delete account entirely** and confirm your decision.

# What happens after deleting an account?

* After permanently deleting an account:

1. The member will lose access to the mobile app and will disappear from the member lists,
2. All future bookings and automatic enrollments will be cancelled,
3. Active memberships will be terminated,
4. Additional memberships and [family accounts](/en/article/family-accounts-1e8ykdf/) will be deleted together with the main account,
5. Saved payment cards and recurring payments will be removed,
6. Member cards and payment links will stop working,
7. The email address will be released and can be used to create a new account.

|| Deleting an account **does not remove** the member's history!

* The following information will remain in the system:

* transaction history,
* attendance history.
