# Email and SMS messages campaigns

### Email and SMS messages campaigns

**In WodGuru you can send messages to specific groups of recipients.**

To do this, go to [Communication > Campaigns](https://demo.wod.guru/dashboard/message/campaign) and then click the NEW CAMPAIGN button.

# Prepare the message

In the first step you can decide whether you want the system to send emails or SMS messages, and then create the content.

| You will find some dynamic variables when you click the blue button with the question mark. We use it to make the system replace them with the recipients' data in messages.

# Choose the recipients

Second step is to choose a group containing the recipients of the message. 
We can select one of the following options:

* Active athletes
* Deactivated
* [Guests](/en/article/members-account-types-q0gko1/)
* With specific membership
* From selected classes
* [Saved filters](/en/article/filters-m6rzfx/)
* All

# Send it!

As you can see, third and last step is sending the campaign immediately or plan it for later.

# Message history

In the [Communication > Message](https://wodgurutestowybox.wod.guru/dashboard/message/history) history tab, you can see all emails and SMS messages sent from your account.
You’ll find info like the send date, delivery date, message type, recipient, and status (Delivered / Fail). It’s a simple way to check whether your automations or campaigns reached the right people — and what exactly was sent ;)  

To preview the content of a specific message, click the magnifying glass icon next to it.
