# Booking classes

### How booking classes work at WodGuru

**Everything you need to understand about booking classes in our system. Who can book a class, how to book in, and how cancel a booking** <3

To start booking gym members in classes, at first we need to create a schedule with classes.

# How to book classes

There are several ways to book a gym member in classes.

1. **Members book in by themselves**

The simplest of the options available: a gym member logs into his app and book in classes:

###### Refreshing the day in the mobile app

* In the [mobile app](/en/article/how-to-install-wodguru-mobile-app-10ytpvv/), when viewing the schedule for a specific day, you can use the Refresh button to check in real time whether bookings have opened! :D

| We recommend that you create a test gym member's account and see how WodGuru works from their perspective ;)

2. **We book members in classes**

* Going to Schedule and clicking on specific classes, we will see the attendance list. This is where we can **book in or cancel bookings** for our gym members :D

###### Booking a member from the quick menu

* You can book in a member directly from the quick menu by clicking the three dots next to their profile and selecting “Book in”:

3. **Recurring Bookings**

* If a gym member attends a specific class frequently, you can use WodGuru to automatically book this member in! You can add it through [editing the member's profile](/en/article/members-profile-edition-guide-for-a-club-340ubw/), in the [Recurring Bookings](/en/article/recurring-bookings-for-classes-1xo4wl5/) tab down below:

###### Another way to add a member to a group

* You can add a member to a group not only from their profile. Alternatively, you can do it via Reports → **Recurring bookings**, where you can see the list of all groups and their members! :D

| After enabling and assigning recurring bookings, the member will see a list of groups they are assigned to in the mobile app under **Your active bookings / Your groups** (see screenshot below ↓) :D

In the **Settings > Bookings rules** tab you will find all the settings related to booking in classes:
